The Krewe of Pontchartrain is proudly named to honor the lake that borders New Orleans. Mr. Mudbug, their crawfish-themed float, is a crowd favorite. For all of the Mardi Gras parades, you'll have a commanding comfortable view from our grandstand seating in the 200 block of St. Charles Avenue. Equipped with restroom and within easy access to downtown parking and to a large selection of food and beverages, the Royal Grandstand is available for all Orleans parades, from February 5, 2010 thru Mardi Gras Day.
